The Kim family has hit rock bottom: father, mother, son, and daughter live in a dingy, greenish basement and are willing to take any odd job. Only when the youngest son lands a position as a tutor in the ultra-chic villa of the Park family do the Kims enter the fray of class warfare. With clever tricks, remarkable talent, and great teamwork, they manage to gradually get rid of the Park family's existing staff. Soon, the Kims are indispensable to their new employers. But then an unexpected incident sets off a chain of events that are as unpredictable as they are unbelievable.
